316SS pump head

Metering pump, also known as proportional pump, is to change the amount of liquid delivery, can be conveniently and accurately by adjusting the eccentric distance of the eccentric wheel, to change the stroke of the embolus to achieve.

Metering pumps are also known as quantitative pumps or proportional pumps. Metering pump is a kind of special positive displacement pump that can meet the needs of a variety of strict process, and the flow rate can be stepless adjusted in the range of 0-100% to transport liquids (especially corrosive liquids).

Metering pump is a kind of fluid conveying machinery, its outstanding feature is that it can maintain a constant flow unrelated to the discharge pressure. The use of metering pumps can complete the functions of conveying, metering and adjustment at the same time, thus simplifying the production process. With multiple metering pumps, several media can be mixed into the process in exact proportions. Due to its own prominence, metering pumps have been widely used in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industrial fields.

Working principle

The motor drives the worm through the coupling and decelerates the worm wheel to make the main shaft and eccentric wheel rotate, and the eccentric wheel drives the sliding adjusting seat of the arch connecting rod to make reciprocating movement. When the plunger moves back to the dead center, a vacuum is gradually formed in the pump chamber, and the suction valve is opened to inhale the liquid; When the plunger moves forward to the dead center, the suction valve is closed, the discharge valve is opened, and the liquid is discharged as the plunger moves further. In the reciprocating cycle of the pump to form a continuous pressure, quantitative discharge liquid.
